Job Description

 

The Solution Consultant (SC) is the primary technical advisor providing the Alvaria vision and crafting the Alvaria solution for the sales team and the customer. Alvaria SCs are responsible for understanding input from (prospective) customers to understand their operational needs and goals. Moreover, our SC's are accountable for providing customers guidance in aligning Alvaria solutions to best facilitate their transformational journey. 
 
Alvaria SC’s must be both sales-focused and technically savvy.  In addition to being adept at articulating benefits to IT and Super User staff, they must be successful selling to executives, and convincing C-level and director level executives of the merits of Alvaria's software solutions. 
 
The SC will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our prospects to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone.
 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Meeting with our prospective customers as advisor, developing a deep understanding of their current environment, key business challenges, and goals, and demonstrate benefits that can be realized through Alvaria solutions.
•    Develop and deliver on-site and virtual product demonstrations
•    Present Alvaria solutions to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
•    Provide scoping guidance for customer pilots and POCs
•    Serve, internally, as technical SME/advisor for Account Executives, Product Managers and Marketing staff
•    Support technical RFI/RFP requirements and mapping said requirements to the software solution
•    Transition PreSales project to implementation teams along with Sales/Account team
 

Qualifications

 

•    Domain experience consisting of a combination of the following:
•    2-5 years of Campaign Operations Management domain experience
•    >2 years of Outbound/Outreach management experience Manager, Sr. Manager, Director level
•    >3 years of PreSales consulting experience directly related to this discipline
•    Strong understanding and experience of the CX industry as it relates to contact centers, digital, online, and platforms
•    Familiarity with Alvaria and/or competitor product lines is beneficial
•    In-depth knowledge of Customer Service Software, ITSM, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence is beneficial
•    Ability to articulate solution value
o    Understands the power of Omni Channel and Advanced IVR
o    Ability to creatively position solutions for customers
•    SaaS/Cloud experience
•    CS/SE/IS/MIS or related Engineering/Science program experience preferred or equivalent work experience
•    Familiarity with using and ability to explain the use of restful APIs
•    Voice XML, IVR scripting, basic SQL preferred
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills
•    Excellent Time management: manage multiple competing priorities, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
•    Be able to work independently & as part of a team in a fast pace, rapid change environment
